Good Morning everyone.
Hope you are enjoying the Giveaways this Easter Holiday.
Today I have used a Sizzix Box 2 Die, which I haven't used in a while, and the Banner Die, which I have only used once to make a friend's little boy's Birthday Banner.
Here I have created a little box for the arrival of a baby boy.
I think it is so cute!! It was inspired by this giveaway by one of you lovely lady's but all will be revelled at the end of the giveaways.
As this project is pastel I thought I'd enter it into the Papaertake Weekly Challenge.
So what am I giving away today.......
Well I thought I'd give 6 die cuts of the Box, in whit so it can be used as a template or it can be covered or used as is, plus so die cuts of the banner, again in white.
The idea for the box's use was from Cheryl, there are some fab ideas on her blog.
All the other details are either from my stash (the button, BBQ skewer and 'b' stamp) or Stampin' Up (papers, sentiments and ribbon)
I hope you like!
So leave me a comment on how you would use either the box, or banner or both.
The most inventive and interesting will win!!!!
Thanks for joining me,
Hugs Sarah B X
These boxes would look great filled with yummy treats! Or, a great box for my Pro-Markers! Or even for stamped images! The possibilities are endless! Love em! xx
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely little box. These would be great to use as treat boxes filled with different sweeties. x
ReplyDeleteThese are so cute, the first thing that came into my head was to fill them with miniture products ie Toiletries for a birthday, Baby products for new born, Mother to begift. the list just goes on on and for the posibilities..x
ReplyDeleteI love it! The box would make a perfect gift bag for a boy, using the banner as a sail for a boat. Perfect for putting a cuddly toy or maybe some bath toys in! And a pot of bubbles!
ReplyDeleteThis beautiful box would be super for using as a little new baby gift, do it in the colour of the baby, and then you could make sock roses, etc to fill it with, using the banner as a name flag or congratulations etc, as you could then wrap it in a cello casing with a beautiful ribbon to do it up at the top as well

These boxes would be great for a crafting party and some crafting goodies in the box would be a lovely touch Toni
ReplyDeleteHi
ReplyDeleteI would make two boxes and attach them back to back with the banner in the middle. These could then be used centre pieces for tables at parties and celebrations such as weddings. The banner would be the table number and the little boxes would be great for holding party poppers or perhaps those little disposable cameras. Great project - really love the colours. Love Terri XX
I'd change the B for Boy in the banner for the babies name, fill the box with pampering goodies for Mum-face packs, foot treatments, suitable essential oils etc and then attach the banner to the babies cot as that bits definately for him!
ReplyDeleteAnother lovely project Sarah, Those banners would make graet name plates above kids beds or on their doors ! and I just love the box, no idea what to do with it tho ! lol!

Wow this box is so adorable ,fab work ,love it ,hugs Dawnxx
ReplyDeleteOkay, so it isn't my original idea, but I saw a blog (in hoping so can't tell you where exactly) that used a similar box and the the cold starbucks coffee bottles and decorated the box and bottles to match each other and then put Valentines Candy in each bottle, like conversation hearts, ect! You could also go with the baby theme and use like the little candy's that look like passies and rattles!

Hi, Another lovely creation Sarah! I'd use a box for a patient in hospital filling it with appropriate goodies for the person ie, packet of moist tissues, small talc, small carton of juice, a tv top up card or a few grapes!! Well, a hospital trip wouldn't be the same without the grapes would it!! It would sit nicely ontop of their unit or table.

Hi Sarah
ReplyDeleteHow creative are you!!!!!
I would use a few banners strung together, with letters on to spell out my boys' names and use them as bunting at their parties.
As for the box - well fill it with chocolates - what else - lol!
Best wishes
