Opps! Its been a while!

Hello out there, if there is still anyone out there. its been a while since I have felt like blogging, but I have still been around keeping my eye on what has been going on. I have still done lots of crafting. I though I would share a couple of projects I have worked on over Christmas.

 For the boys!

For the girls!

Both cards are made using Crumb Cake Cardstock and the Flip-it Framelit - both from Stampin Up. The THANK YOU is also Stampin Up - Sassy Salutations, (three of my fav products at the moment!)

I have a lovely class of children this year!!! Such a relief from the stress of last year!

Hope you like and maybe I'll be back with some more makes, but no pressure!!

Take care all and I hope you had a lovely Christmas.

A Big Surprise and A Sneaky Peek!!!!

Well! Its only January and so much has happened to me, good and bad but I'll focus on the good.

I had a windfall this week in the name of PPI!!!!! Which meant that I could spend lots of money on lots of goodies.

I put a bumped order into Stampin' Up and have had lots of fun creating this card. Its for another bit a fabaroonie news. I close friend and colleague welcome her gorgeous son into the world yesterday! What better excuse to use a new stamp set.

Oh Whale is a set from the Spring/Summer Cattie, which goes live on the 1st Feb, 2013.
Its such a gorgeous set and not overly soppy.

The whale can be stamped and then using a clearlit, (sold separately) cut out. I love this!!!!!!! And isn't he cute!!
The waves are also part of the stamp set. The fish, heart and start are also on the clearlit, and can be stamped, but not easily lined up to Cut. I'm sure there is a way, but only got it Thursday

The "Congratulations" is a sentiment from Sassy Salutations - the main cattie.

I love this set, and will be using it lots. I can see it being very usual for Hello notes, and probably end of year cards for my class..... Any other ideas.

Lots more goodies to play with..... so I'm off for some fun.

Hope you like!

Take care!

Hello.........

Blimey.....doesn't time fly!!!

Well I'm back..............

A few things have changed over the last 7 months. I have resigned from all design teams, due to excessive work load. So I decided to join up to Stampin' Up again, but only for hobby reasons and receiving discounts.

I will share the things I make but unfortunately due to the stampin' Up contract can't plug or push other companies, but I'm sure you guys know the stamps I'll be using.

Well I have to go and hunt for my camera. I've been so busy making and crafting, but I'm only  be posting as and when I feel like it, I dont want this to become hard work or an added stress in my life, Teaching at the moment takes all that!!!!

If you choose to pop by and have a peek, leave a comment if you wish.

Take care all and enjoy.

SOME CHANGES...........

Hello All! Hope everyone is well. Its half term and I'm ill!!!!!! But at least I can have lazy days.

So much has been happening and I'm sorry but my blog has been neglected!!

Work is crazy but the new school year has started well, the children, although lots of them are Great!! I have a lot of boys this year but they are lovely!

There have been lots of changes, I have had to really things about things and have made some decisions about my Hobby!!

I have cut back on lots of DT work and now only have The Sugar Bowl left which I hope I can cope with. I have loved being on DTs but no matter how much you think its fun and undemanding, with a full time job and young family, I have finally admitted defeat!!

Anyway enough of me blathering on!! I'm going to show something I have only yried recently and love it!! Putting images onto candles. Emily - my daughter - loves it too!! So we are in the middle of sorting Christmas Presents for Everyone!!

Here is my first attempt and a tribute to my love of Sugar Nellie.

I used DAISY, she was a first love, and I still think she is cute!!

The candle was from ASDA, in a pack of 6. and they fit perfectly in the Pro Milk Carton!!
I think decorated it with embossed core-dinations - panels, flowers and leaves. I put some little gems inside the flowers.
The sentiment is from Stampin' Up.

I dont know about everyone else, but I am in need of trying something different with my craft, and I really enjoyed this! Its so simple.

Hope you like

Take care
