InStyle Stamps Monthly Blog Hop

Hello all, sorry I've not posted for a few days but have had very little inspiration and it would seem the Holiday mood is still here. But I have managed to do a few cards and projects which I'll show over the next few days.
Its Friday and its the last one for August which means its Blog Hop time at InStyle Stamps. If you have popped here first and want to hop through go back to here and begin.
However, you may have hopped here from the lovely Barbara.
Now here is my Project. The theme for this month is End of Summer. To me that means Autumn, shorter days and My Birthday!!!!!!!
For My project I have used Summer Tilly. I love this image it is so childlike, its really adorable, and is one of the recent releases from InStyle Stamps Digi Images
This first part of my project is a mini scrap book, something to keep those treasure memories and photos in.
I used some MME Papers, and teamed it with chocolate coloured flowers from Papermania, and some Prima Flowers, layers and attached using a Papermania Pearl Brad, and some swirls to add detail and interest.
I also rooted around in my stash and used a ribbon slider I have had for years!
Doesn't Tilly look sweet, skipping around the cover!
I then thought it would be nice to have a bag to keep the scrapbook in and maybe even some mementos of the summer. I used my own designer satchel, and covered it using the same MME Papers.

Cropping images seems to be the thing at the moment so I cropped Tilly and mounted be onto a scallop circle which was then attached to the front of the bag.

I then stamped, punched and inked some little letters to create a title for the project.

The flowers were created in the same way as the mini book, and attached to the front of the bag.
I then attached a ribbon for the handle, and used some velcro for the fastening!

Here is the final project.

I really hope you like it!! If you do make sure you vote over at the InStyle Stamps blog!!!!!

Also leave a comment and you could win a $25 goodie bag from InStyle Stamps.

Now continue Hopping along and see what the fabulous Patti has for you.

Take care and Enjoy

InStyle Stamps: Rainy Tilly

Hello everyone. First things first. Thanks for all the lovely comments you guys left me while I was a way. And I'm really pleased all my scheduled posts worked.
We had a great holiday, weather was great and spending time with family was entertaining to say the least, Emily and Cameron are growing up so quickly, they are developing into two very lovely and funny people!!!
I think I am about catching up on the washing but the ironing mountain is going to have to be conquered soon!!!
While I was away InStyle Stamps released some new and really adorable images.
I used this one called Raining Tilly and created a Rainy Day Kit.
Isn't she sweet! They are Digi Images, which I am really loving as you can size them however you like!

Here is a carried carton, to hold the contents, I'm really sorry I can't remember where I purchased the template from as soon as I find it I'll let you know cos it is great!
It has three sizeable compartments, and is really very sturdy.

I coloured Tilly using my promarkers, on Neenah cardstock. The Sentiment was printed on the computer too, and then I cut it out using a SU Circle punch and stamped around the edges, one of my fav techniques.

Here is the notebook - a very cheap one from Asda. I covered the front and layered another image of Tilly.

Again I printed out the sentiment, and used various circle layered up to add detail to the attachment.

I stamped a bubble image I recently purchased from Elzybells in Tempting Turquoise onto Tempting Turquoise cardstock - both from SU.
I also wrapped some matching thread I had in my stash.
I created my own little crayon box and in the same way as the notebook and carton, layer Tilly on the front.

Here is the whole collection, complete with chocolate!!!

Its a little bit late, but the rest of the Design Team created some gorgeous projects go and check them out, here. There are more posts with the other releases, make sure you have a look.

I hope you like. I am hoping to be caught up with things but its taking longer than expected as my back is playing up along with my hips, and although I have the medication to take the pain away it sends me to cloud cuckoo land so don't get anything done anyway!! Bare with me. There is an Instyle Blog Hop scheduled this Friday so stay tuned!

Take care and have a lovely day.

OH LA LA!!!! Hot Stuff!!

These images are a bit naughty but so much fun. This image from Kenny K is called Delores D'ammage. I used some papers I have had for a while, and matched my promarkers to this.
This is a recycled charm, which I think fell off a necklace Cameron had. The thread is from a local craft shop, but it is sold by Anchor the thread and cross stitch company.
The sentiment is from The Greeting Farm Roll Call Set.
And the final card.
Hope you like.
Like be back tomorrow from my holidays and all being well all my posts have now been scheduled.
Have a lovely day

A "Good-Bye" Kenny K

Here is a Kenny K image, called Queens Cutie. I think she is a more practical, no nonsense looking girl and very appropriate to the card I wanted to make.
One of my Child Minders are leaving this week, and I made this card for the whole group to sign. They are having a party for her today, and we have had to miss it, as we are on holiday!!!!!

I love this organza ribbon. The charm is a heart, although it doesn't really look like it here.

The papers are from The Daisy Bucket, bought from Dies to Die for. The lettering was cut out from my sizzlet set Fruit Smoothie, its a really nice size and has lower case too. The charms are a little boy and a little girl, very appropriate I thought.
I Love them boots!!

Hope you like.
Take care

All That Scraps Previews

Here is the final card I created using the recently released Stamp Set Take A Seat, from All that Scraps, but was actually the first one I made. I love it!!!!!

As soon as the set arrived I cut it all up and inked up the chair. It is to die for and was calling out to be paper pieced!! I added brads to the arms and layered it up to create a comfortable perch for Trevor. I also created two co-ordinating cushion, which you can see behind him!

I also stamped the rug and cut it out then added some fringing!

I Stamped the Lamp, but coloured with my promarkers and then cut it out and shaped it to give a 3D effect.

I think these little photos were an inspired idea, even if I say so myself. I have some CC Designs Digi Images and reduced them down to fit the frames.

I love the depth this card has and I wanted to create a Picture type creation. I have another idea but will play when I get back off holiday.
Hope you like

Kenny K Challenge

The Challenge this week is Bright and Bold. I decided to use one of the newer images, which I have to say make me smile, they are such fun!!
I have had these papers for an age and was really struggling with this challenge, as I have already done the orange and pink thing. So when I saw these I though it was time to cut (although I have two of each sheet so it wasn't to devastating!!)
The colours are really unusual, I used Pear Green, Lime Zest, Aubergine, Marine and Duck Egg, all they toned down with a blender pen!
The sentiment is from the Roll Call Set from The Greeting Farm, very apt I thought!
I added a heart charm to go with the thigh tattoo.
And here is the finished card.
Make sure you head over to Kenny K's Krafty Girls and check out the rest of Team B's work and remember the fabulous prize up for grabs.
Have fun
