Another Fab Live Chat

Over at our Jems site, we had a great night chatting and doing a couple of challenges.

The first challenge was called "Real Black Olive". We had to use these colours to inspire us.

The Stamp Set is True Friend, it was only the second time I have used it.

I really like how this card turned out.

All products are Stampin' Up too. So I broke no rules this time!

I'll post the other one tomorrow.

I've been playing again!!!!

I got some more goodies this week and have been playing. I love the Little train Stamp Set that Stampin' Up have brought out in the Mini Catalogue. The set even includes a little puff of smoke!

I also have the track which just adds to the whole set.

I used School Book Serif to create the "choo choo"

Then inside is another POP UP. I used my quickkutz train set for this, it is perfect.

The sun was cut using a sizzix die and textured cardstock.

I love my new toy. I can wait to see what I made next.

Tutorial for Jems Challenge.

Sorry if you are not part of the Jems, but I needed to do this tutorial for our challenge, you never know though you might like it so much I'll want to buy a Big Shot and the die, which is the Fries Container Die.

1. These are the pieces you received, one set in cream and one set in bronze.

2. Fold all the score lines, including the bottom score line of the side pieces.

3. Apply a strong adhesive to the places shown.

4. Stick the side pieces as shown.

5. When you join the tabs make sure that they all side to the inside of the container.

6. Hopefully this has helped, let me know if you need anymore help.

My New Toy!!!!!

I have been waiting so long for Sizzix to bring these out in the UK, now they are here, and I just want to play, What is she talking about I hear you shout

Well first things first.

I love these Sherbet Papers from Stampin' Up and the Schoolbook Serif Stamp Set is an absolute must.

Actually there is not much from Stampin' Up I don't like. Being apart of Stampin' Up has introduced to all of you lovely ladies, and gentlemen, I know there are some of you out there

This little man is also part of the All in the Family Stamp Set which is so versatile.

Isn't this fab. I love pop ups. And I am so lucky to have got this is brilliant. Sizzix has definitely done it again.

My SU Mum Jules has also created her very own Cupcake Tower, pop over and have a look at it. It is definitely a project I'm going to lift.

I have another pop up but you are just going to have to be patient and wait for a few days..........

Summer is Here!

Summer came early to Pudsey yesterday.

We had a fantastic afternoon making lots of goodies at Julie's Workshop yesterday, (She is my SU Mum, and lovely lady). So much so I'm shattered today, can't seem to sort myself out and do something, except the ironing!!!!!!!!

Anyway enough of horrible thoughts and to the gorgeous things we made.

These are not colours I would usually pick, but I love the ideas, and I'm always one to try things once.

All products are Stampin' Up (except the pink books, these were purchased by Julie, from somewhere!!!! Obviously)

Well I'm going to try and do something, not sure what but might be back with another project later, have a lovely day!

Another Card

It is such a busy couple of months for cards.

This is one for my father, but its one that I dont really like now I have done it, but unfortunately its his birthday tomorrow, and I've not posted it yet, so hey ho, it'll arrive late!!!!!

I do like the inking around "dad" and "grandad" it makes it look antique, which would describe my dad well.

All items used are Stampin' Up, including the colouring, no Pro Markers I've used the Stampin' Up Markers, I really like them, they are strong and vibrant.

I'm a real skin-flint cos it also doubles as a grandad card.

A Real Cutie!!!

Isn't she just soooooooo cute!

And thats her name Cutie-patootie.

This is one of the new stamps from Elzybells

I inked her up as soon as I got her, ready for a work colleagues birthday

I prepared the card with lost of matting and layering using chocolate chip cardstock and so saffron designer series paper, matching her dress with a mustard promarker. The I stamped a sentiment from the Circle of Friendship Collection from Stampin' Up, layered that up.

Then I added some flowers, cos whats a birthday without flowers!

Then a little bling was called for!

with few more bits from my stash and a Cute Summery Birthday card was created.

I even paid attention the the inside, something I don't always do, but love, cos i really does finish a card off.

Sorry I've neglected everyone recently but hopefully packets will be posted this weekend.

Giveaway Inspiration!

This is a project that was inspired by Mckinkle, last week during my giveaways.

This is such a cute project, thanks for the idea, Keryn.

Papers are Bashful Blue Designer Series Papers and the ribbon is the Bashful Blue Striped Grosgrain both from Stampin' Up.

Me being me though couldn't leave it there so I made a little bag to put it in.
