A Card for a Very Special Guy!

I haven't mentioned my nephew before, not for any other reason than since his dad died I've not been allowed to have much to do with him, due to his mother - a term I use very loosely.
Anyway for one reason or another he is now living with my mum, so am able to talk and see him more now.
This card is for him, his birthday is on Tuesday.
The Best is Yet to be is very apt for him cos he has had a rough ride in his twenty years.
It only seems like yesterday when I went to the hospital, waiting for him to be born, and I was the first to hold him. He was and still is gorgeous.

I can't believe he is twenty, we have had a lot a missed years!
I used my All in the family Stamp set, which is so versatile plus some inspiration from my SU Mom, Jules, she too is gorgeous!!

The papers are from a Making Memories Pad, which I love, and is called SAM.

The star and tabs where punched using the SU punches, and finished off with buttons from my stash.
Blimey can't believe I've not posted much this week it has been absolutely manic.
I had been busy crafting, but there are little eyes watching so sorry can't post til, next week.
Last time I looked I only had 10 hits left to reach 8000, so need to get on with the next template and tutorial.
Back soon Hugs Sarah B X

  8. Hey, this isn't my first visit, but I had to let you know that you're not alone in missing out on childrens lives. I have a 24 yr old Grandson, whom I haven't seen since he was 16. And I saw him only occasionally over the years prior to that, because of his 'mother'. So I symapathize. Love your blog! My insignificant little blog is at: http://jazzyjessesjourney.blogspot.com
