Here it is........

...........My new Box Design!!!!!
Its a Cantilever Style Box, inspired by the old tool boxes, but then I thought it need to to be multipurpose, and thought about the old wooden sewing box my mum has.
Its has taken a while for it the take shape, and several failed attempts to make sure the arms were positioned correctly.
This is how it all opens up. Unlike the traditional boxes which are able to hold themselves up due to their material, the top box actually swings all the way to sit level with the bottom box.
Then there is lots of room for goodies, not decided yet what to put in!!!!!
I then made a mirri-board box, but not keen. Think it needs to be dulled down slight, a little too bright for me.
Hope you like.
I might do a tutorial, not sure yet. Several people have said I should sell it, cos of all the work. but not sure how to go about doing this. So will see.
I'm out all day and night, so won't be back til tomorrow. Hope you all have a lovely Saturday, Think of me sitting in the middle of an Airfield writing reports!!!!!!!!!!

  2. Hi Sarah.

Wow this is a fantastic project, you've worked really hard on this. I would never be able to come up with anything remotely like this beautiful box. Well done you.

Also, Edward won his Viking Boat Race on Wednesday (I've popped an update on the original post with the details). He wanted to thank you for your lovely comment, it really made his day.

  5. Wow! That's is just amazing, what a lot of work you've put into it, but it's absolutely stunning, you're very clever. Would love a tutorial if you feel like doing one, but I agree that you could sell, or charge for a tutorial for such an amazing project. You can put a PayPal button on your blog and ask for a small fee for the tutorial.

    Have a good weekend
