Mary Hall: Tulips

Isn't she a Sweetie. This is a sneaky peek at one of the Mary Hall Stamps soon to be released over at Funky Kits. I think she is adorable. I inked her up straight away and coloured her using my Promarkers.

I then made a new Lauren Meader template up, in Real Red Cardstock (Stampin' Up) which was stamped with the New Vintage Vogue Stamp Set and coordinating wheel, (a little difficult to see as it was inked up using real red ink, I like the watermark effect). Its a lovely box and I plan on using this for the teachers presents at the end of this year.
I also inked all the edges of the box in box. Love doing this it makes it pop!!!

I cut out Tulip Girl using a circular nestie, and while it was in the die I inked around the edge using Bashful Blue ink (Stampin' Up) it gives the effect of the sky. Then inked around the main circle in black.

I then remembered I had a Sizzix Die which could be layered up to create a Tulip, perfect. I cut out the pieces and the inked them using the same wheel as the box and then inked all the edges. I also used a Vintage Vogue stamp just to stamp a small section in black.

I love the way the box has turned out.
Hope you like too.
Thanks to everyone who has commented on my post over the last couple of days, I really do appreciate it.
Have a lovely evening. I'm off tomorrow its voting day and my school is being used as a polling station. So I'm writing reports!!LOL!!

Enjoy your report writing, but don't forget it's always good to have a break and do something different....so maybe a card or two perhaps!!
