I love Dinosaurs

Here is an image I think is so suitable for boys of all ages, everyone likes dinosaurs, and these ones are so cute. This image is from The Greeting Farm and it matched brilliantly with some papers I have had in my stash for a while.

This cutie-saurus had to be cut out and added to the card as a feature, he is adorable, I think its the eyes!

I made it into an easel card. I love these cards as they are a little bit more special. I also like to use a strip of paper as the stopper now, rather than a small circle, or bit! I have used a sentiment off the paper for inside too!!

And a side view!

Have a lovely day. This is a scheduled post as its Cameron's Birthday today. I can't believe my baby is 8, time is flying!!!

Happy Bunnies!

Another image from Bugaboo. Isn't this bunny the cutest!!

I used my Martha Stewart gloo punch to create the grass (I think it looks quite nice!)

These are a couple of easter cards I made using up some bits and pieces. The papers are Tea Party from Stampin' Up. and the ribbon from my stash (both are Stampin' Up but lilac on is retired)

Hope you like

Buggy Bear!

I really do love this image from Bugaboo. This card is one that I did a little bit of experimenting with, a bit of sanding, stitching and ribbon threading (not convinced about, need to find my making memories tool to cut holes a little bit neater!!)

I do like it, I think its a card that could be make in multiples to put in my stash for last minute birthday cards.
Have a lovely day.
First day of my hols, so its a PJ day today!!

Some cardstock from Craftwork cards, templates from Cathie Shuttleworth, some more sizzix dies, the embossing folders were part of the freebie, i-touch accessories, Papermania Tote, Card candy and storage box

Here is a closer look at the stamps, they include Lili of the Valley, Magnolia and Mo Manning. I haven't photographed the papers I bought and essentials like tape and promarkers.
Can't wait now to have a play.

Lady Buggy Bear

Well I had a wonderful day yesterday. Spent far too much but don't tell the hubby!!!!!!!
I bumped into to some lovely friends Marlene and Sonia, it was lovely to catch up!X!
I'll share my stash later.
I'm sure I have mentioned before but my Favourite colour is red, nice deep luscious red. I also like ladybirds, so I thought I'd use another image I bought from Bugaboo and use read and black along with a little bit of punch art.

Its the image adorable and the ladybirds, such cuties.

Here is my final creation. The papers are from Stampin' Up (sorry no longer available), along with the sentiment, cardstock and black button.
Hope you like.
I'll be back later but I'm off to have a cuppa tea and sit down. Shopping is so tiring, my whole body aches!!!!
Have a lovely Sunday.

An Enjoyable Day!

This is another card I created when I had my day crafting last weekend.
This image is from The Greeting Farm and she is so cute!!!!
I coloured her with my promarkers, to match the free papers from MME, which came with one of the magazines.

A sentiment to match!

I put this flower together, from my retro flower punch, and a Stampin' Up Rhinestone brad.

I did some ripping and tearing, loved it, will defino be doing that again.

Well I'm at the NEC today buying lots of goodies, can't wait to share with you the things I buy!!!!

See you tomorrow, Hugs SarahB X

Fab Box adorned with Daisy

This image is my all time favourite. and when the Sugar Babes recently did a blog hop, it was the image I used. I coloured a few.

I then saw this fab tutorial for this box, I think it was on the Whiff of Joy site.

It is an unusual box as it uses the word window punch from Stampin' Up to create the hinges.

I then added the tab punch as the closure and some magnet fasteners.

Hope you like.

Have a good day.

Be Happy in your New Home

I have had this template on my desk for ages and it keeps on popping up when I tidy so I decided I would create this little Birdhouse.
I very special friend is n the process of buying her first house, so she was on my mind, while making this.
I used the 'It's Beautiful Wheel' from Stampin up and then just used scraps and little bits and pieces. The bird is from the Wild About You Stampin Up Set.

Lil' Bug Notes

I really can't resist this image she is so sweet. I need a little note book to take with me to NEC this Saturday and as this book was only £1 from Asda, I thought it was ideal.
So I brought it home and covered it with scraps, now its ready for all the ideas and notes I need to make on Saturday.
Is anyone else going to NEC this week?
Thanks for popping by.

Lil' Spring Bug

I absolutely love CC Designs. and this Lil' Bug is an absolute dream to colour. Everything about her is adorable, from her cute antennae to her lil' pot bellie.

The bag I have used was originally cream but I inked it so it would match the image and papers. I bought these bags from the NEC ages ago, and during a tidying session I found them, along with lots of other stuff I forgot about.

The papers are from Stampin' Up. The sentiment is from CC Designs and the flowers were punched out using a Punch from Stampin' Up.

I hope you like

I have kept the card simple again using papers from my stash.
I have been really busy today, but making cards and little projects. It has been lovely. I seem to have found my MoJo!!!!
I am going to schedule lots of post tonight so make sure you keep popping by to have a look at what I have been up to.
Hope you like.

7 More Sleeps to go!!!!!

Only 7 more sleeps and its the Easter Holidays.
I really look forward to the Summer Term at school especially after SATs.
The children can relax and we can do more fun stuff, although our head is leaving at the end of the year, so OFSTED is looming!!!!!
My card today is using another one of Dianne Duda's Digi Images from Funky Kits and I think it is quiet cute.
I matched it up with existing stash, Stampin' Up Ribbon and a CC Design Sentiment.
I love doing my bows like this they are so easy, (I may do a tutorial in the hols!!) And the Charm is also from my stash!

Well I have fun packed day ahead, swimming with Year 3s.

Have a lovely day

Froggie Friends!

After seeing some of the punched animals I couldn't resist having a go at some more. I made quite a few last year but didn't really do much with them but this Digi Image, pushed me to make a frog.

I used Stampin' Up punches and EK Success ones too! I distress the edges by sanding and adding ink. Then a few Highlights here and there!! Finally a cute little character full of personality.

I love these boy images from Dianne Duda, they are so fun and cute. You can just about see the little critter that inspired the Punch Art.

And a sentiment from CC Designs to suit.

Hope you like.

Spring Is here!

And isn't it. We have been havig some very beautiful and sunny days here in Mansfield.
So a bright a cheery character to match.
Another Dianne Duda Image. Not quite like the traditional ones, but this Flower Fairy is quite cute.

I have kept the colours subtle, but the image is quite bright, but match the backing paper well. More from My stash.

An a finishing touch with Prima Flowers, always a good embellishment.

Hope you like.

Happy Mother's Day

Happy Mother's Day to all of you!!!!

I was woken up this morning to Breakfast in Bed, it was lovely. That was the first time ever, Emily has been dying to do it but I'm never in bed when she wakes up lately, so today I think she got up extra early!!!!

Cameron made me a lovely card at school, He is so arty!!!

Right onto my card for today. I am determined this week to get organised and schedule some posts. My Blog seems to have been neglected lately, as work has been crazy!!!!!
I have finally got all my Design Team Cards made from the recent Dianne Duda Digi Image Releases.
I really am in love with these Fairy Clowns they are so different and quirky.
These images have really given me the opportunity to use some old colourful papers, along with keeping things simple.
This image is called BIG HEART FAIRY and is available from Funky Kits.
I have no idea where these papers came from but I have teamed them up with some Bazzil papers, Stampin' Up ribbon, a button from my stash and a charm!

I'm going to have a look at these images again over Easter when I have a little more time and try to do something different. When I printed some more out I'm gonna make sure I print them smaller, as these were a little too large, but it was difficult to judge on the computer, but hopefully I have it sorted now.

Hope you all have a lovely day, I have some Smallville DVDs to watch (my Mother's Day Pressie!!!)

So I'm off to play.

Take care, Hugs Sarah B X

Another Digi Image

I have tried something a little different with this project as I think these images from Dianne Duda are delightfully different! I fall in love with more each time I work with one.
This image is called Kitchen Fairy and is available at Funky Kits.
I thought rather than making a card I'd use her to decorate a recipe book. So I used then same papers as the card I made previously as I could cut out the letters and mount them on the front of the book.
I then used some more letters to create a bookmark, which is attached to the spiral binding.
I think went a little bit mad with some gorgeous Stampin' Up grosgrain ribbons and decorated the binding even more.
And the final project.
I'm not sure about it but I think its just so different to what I usually do!
I'm off work today as I have a stinking cold, which seems really feeble but I was sent home yesterday as I could hardly seem or breathe, but hopefully its now lifting and I'll be back tomorrow!!!!

Thought I take advantage of a break between sneezing fits and post.

Hope you are all well
