DT Card with a Hug

Here is a Card I have created using an Image from my DT Kit. Its an images design by Mary Hall called My Ted and Me
Isn't she sweet. Mary Hall's Images are so simple and easy to colour and really take no time at all.
Here is my completed card. I have used papers from my stash (can't remember what they are call!!)

The frame is a sizzix die I have and decided I really ought to start using the things I have in my craft room instead of keep adding to it!! If you look really carefully I have tried to make the frame look like wood. It was cut from Crumb Cake card stock, then I used a chocolate coloured fine line pen and basically just scribbled some lines, then I used Glossy Accents and with out much care dragged the tip all over to give the uneven texture. I think it quite effective!

The flowers are the 3D Flower die from Sizzix which is really fun but a little fiddly!

And the teddy bear????? Yes its a sizzix die also, but I have really decorated it up.
I drew lots of stitching. inked it using Stampin' Up inks and sponged!!! I then sponged rosy pink cheeks then finished her off with a ribbon bow, the die cuts out a bow or bow tie and waist coat, so the bear could be for a boy!! The sentiment is from Elzybels, which I bought in their closing down sale.
I really enjoyed making this card and the image is so simple you can go to town a little on the card itself!!
Hope you like
Hugs Sarah B X
