Designer Autumn

Here is another creation using the new Autumn Collection from Sugar Nellie. There are four Stamps in the collection, with four smaller accessories. I coloured This very stylish girl using my promarkers. I cut her out using a nestie and then inked the edges. The leaf die cut is also a nestie, which i crumpled up and inked.
I wanted to make a brighter card, rather than keep using autumn greens and browns so I was inspired by a Japanese Maple Tree I have in my garden. The leaves turn from a gorgeous red, to golden yellow and then finally orange before falling off in one go usually over night - a real sign that autumn is here.
I used the Washington Apple Designer Papers from Stampin' Up. I really love these papers, unfortunately they are now retired.
I stamped the sentiment from The Fresh Cuts Stamp set, from Stampin' Up and then cut it out, inked the edges and matted onto a piece of scrap card. then using the freebie ribbons from a Stampin' Up incentive, I wrapped some linen thread around to imitate a bow, then I attached a button with so thread tied through.
A simple card, but I really like the way it turned out.
Have a great day and take care.
Hugs Sarah B X
