Cutie!

This is an image my lovely friend Tina, bought at the NEC ages ago, but I borrowed it!!!! She is so cute!!! She is from Lily of the Valley.

I used Marlene's Sketch from The Sugar Bowl Challenge, last week, but obviously as its not a Sugar Nellie Image its not going to be entered, I just loved the sketch! I used Basic grey Papers from the Lemonade Pad and some New Stampin' Up Papers - Sweet Pea paper pack!

This sentiment is from a Stampin' Up Set I haev had for ages.

A few extra details, My Favourite Retro Flower and a finished card!!

I made this card last Saturday Night (When I had a weekend to myself, everyone was sleeping over somewhere or other, It was bliss!!!!!). I really didn't like the card, and had every intention of pulling it apart on Sunday but when I woke up and looked at it again, I quite liked it.

Night and Day Box

Meet Honey, My 2nd Project for All that Scraps.

Let me introduce you to Honey Bikini, she is a latest addition to the CC Design Family over at All That Scraps, she is so cute. Love those rose-bud lips.

This cute image is another of the Stamps I received as part of my Guest Design Kit from All That Scraps. I have kept her very simple and coloured her wearing a black two piece.

I thought I'd team her up with some yummy goodies from Stampin' Up, Night and Day DSP - available only while stocks last. the Card Base was made using the Acetate sheet which comes in the set, I then mat and layered pieces of black cardstock and DSP on the front and on the inside to hide any tape. I added ribbon from my stash down the spine and then went with my, at the moment, favourite blooms.

Go Team Sugar!!!!!

Obviously this New Manga Stamp from Sugar Nellie is called CHEERLEADER! She is available from Funky Kits. She is so yummy!!!

I have used some new papers, from My Mind's Eye, These are from the Quite Contrary Collection and I love them, they are fab quality and the patterns and colours are so modern.

Here I have used my I-top punches, and punched out several layers and then scrunched them together to create a pom-pom effect, I think it works.

A little extra added detail, using some Stampin' Up Ribbon, stitched grosgrain, Love it!!!!

Promarker Tutorial Video - My First

THIS IS MY 2nd POST TODAY, please scroll down for my first.

Ok! I have redone this video and it has sound. (My god if this is what I sound like when I'm teaching no wonder the children fall asleep!!LOL!!) The light was going unfortunately so I may give it another go when there is more light!!

There are two videos as I have no worked out how to edit them together and my camera only does 3 minutes at a time!

There is a video just click on the play button on the bar below the black space!

Apparently there is an ongoing problem with uploaing straight to Blogger its not putting up a thumbnail to show whats on the video!

I would love some help and advice about doing this. I have to set a tripod up on the floor of my craft room, its a real pain, would love to know how everyone else does it!!!!

It takes ages to upload, I'm typing while its doing it so am rambling loads. I have used CC Designs Lil' Bug.

Still waiting, it's auto-saved about 5 times so far!!

Something a little bit different!!!!!!

This is a little bit different for me, but I want to try out some stitching, as I have seen it on cards and love it!! This is another Stamp from Sugar Nellie, available to buy now from Funky Kits,

She is called GOTH GIRL. I think she is fabulous and I have always admired Goths, for having the courage it be individuals.

I used some papers from my stash, and inked them up a little with some Chocolate Chip Ink from Stampin' Up.

I used some thread I bought from a local haberdashery, perfect for this.
And then some Gem Brads from Stampin' Up. I haven't included a sentiment as I don't have anything appropriate.

Goldilocks

Here is another new Stamp from Sugar Nellie available now at Funky Kits. She is gorgeous, brushing her lovely locks. I couldn't resist inking all of these babes up when they arrived last week, its just taken me all week to get them onto cards.

I cased the layout of this card from one I saw over at Sir Stampalot, Which was one of Claudia and Lisa Maybank, over at Pretty Pressings. I love the layout so just had to use it.

The fastening opens on the original, but mine is just an added feature.

I used a new stamp set from Stampin' Up called TINY TAGS, along with its co-ordinating punch.

Mary Hall: Sweet Pea

Here is another sweetie, designed by Mary Hall for Sugar Nellie and available soon at Funky Kits. I was inspired by the Sketch over at Truly Scrumptious.

I used perfect Plum, cardstock and DSPapers from Stampin' Up along with Perfect Plum Ink and the new Vintage Vogue Stamp Set.

.....and the sentiment is from Elzybells.

Mary Hall: Sunflower

Here is my second Design Team Project using the new Mary Hall Stamps soon to be available from Funky Kits. This time its a sweetie with Sunflowers.

Again I have used one of Lauren Meader's new Templates, its really cute and reminds me of the little suitcase I used to buy for my doll's clothes when I was younger.

The sunflower stamp inspired me to go very bright with this project so I used a bright yellow and a new dark rich green cardstock.

The sunflowers here are from my stash!

Its quite a simple project.

Mary Hall: Tulips

Isn't she a Sweetie. This is a sneaky peek at one of the Mary Hall Stamps soon to be released over at Funky Kits. I think she is adorable. I inked her up straight away and coloured her using my Promarkers.

I then made a new Lauren Meader template up, in Real Red Cardstock (Stampin' Up) which was stamped with the New Vintage Vogue Stamp Set and coordinating wheel, (a little difficult to see as it was inked up using real red ink, I like the watermark effect). Its a lovely box and I plan on using this for the teachers presents at the end of this year.
I also inked all the edges of the box in box. Love doing this it makes it pop!!!

I cut out Tulip Girl using a circular nestie, and while it was in the die I inked around the edge using Bashful Blue ink (Stampin' Up) it gives the effect of the sky. Then inked around the main circle in black.

I then remembered I had a Sizzix Die which could be layered up to create a Tulip, perfect. I cut out the pieces and the inked them using the same wheel as the box and then inked all the edges. I also used a Vintage Vogue stamp just to stamp a small section in black.

I love the way the box has turned out.
