18th Birthday!

This is a card I made for a friend of a friend. Its for a young girl who is turning 18 and her Fiancee ask my friend if I would make a card for him, How sweet is that.
Its very similar to the card I submitted Yesterday for my Passion for Promarker Challenge. Its a Trifold Card, but forgot to photograph that aspect of it, but never mind, you've seen that type I have made before, hopefully!
I loved the colours and the images and thought they really suited the age! I do love Miss Anya and can't wait to get my hands on the new ones!! These were coloured using my old faithfuls Promarkers, I used Rose Pink and Pine, a combination I think works well!
For this image I added a Shoe charm, as I'm sure that is what she has in those bags!!!!

The papers I used were from my Stash, bought them ages ago, from Daisy Bucket, they are Yummy!!!!!. The ribbon is Certainly Celery from Stampin' Up

And with the second image I added a.............
.................handbag!
I used my "At the moment" Favourite flowers, with a variety of different centres.
I found it really difficult to find appropriate verses and sentiments for the centre of the card, so end up with some simple but, I think, poignant words.

I hope you like, and I hope he likes it too!!
Thanks for stopping by,
Hugs Sarah B X

  8. This is lovely sarah, I've just ordered these stamps from some money I had for my birthday, may have to use a few of your ideas to make a card for the 16 year old french student we had this summer who's birthday is later this month. She couldn't get over the fact my daughter had over 20 cards as she only ever gets 3 so I have to send her one! Pam
