Tote-ally Brilliant!!!!

Blimey o'riley, what a busy week. I've not had much time for crafting which I don't like. I love making and I usually find some time to relax and craft.
Last night I was up until 1 o'clock playing with the new Tutorial from Becky over at Inking Idaho. It is gorgeous and hopefully I have done it justice, there are somethings I'd like to do differently but I think for my first creation, I like it!!!!!

This is the Tote Closed. It has three small but useful pockets on the front. These can hold a bookmark, chocolate bar, note pen or gift tags. Or I could see this being made for a child in very bright colours and using one of the front pockets to hold a set of crayons.

There is a larger pocket on the back of the Tote, this holds a notebook and pen, or a set of 3x3 love notes, again if made for a child, perhaps some laminated game cards, such as O's and X's, hangman, etc.

The colour combination I used is new to me and something I'm determine to continue. I would never usually go for different colours, I'm strictly a monochromatic kind of crafter, but am trying to step out of my comfort zone.

The Stamp Set comes from the recent Sale-A-Bration Offer. Its Botanical Blooms. I used paper piecing and 2 step Stamping techniques.

This is a really cute book mark which is also included in the Tutorial.

The Tote then opens up to reveal 6 cards, again all include in the Tutorial.
The Colour combination Is Bashful Blue and Perfect Plum.
Hope you like it, leave me a comment and let me know.

One Week Back!

Goodness me one week back at work, now I need about 6 off. I'm so tired. The Stress is so high, don't know how I'm going to get through to the Summer Holidays.

Anyway, I have been making cards this week, but can't show anyone yet.

So have decided to show you the things i made with a lovely group of ladies at the weekend.

I was my first in house workshop, and it was a lovely afternoon, chatting to like minded people about things I actually knew about.

I love making waterfall cards, they are cards which can give maximum impact, but with little effort.

The Doodle That Stamp Set from Stampin' Up, really worked well with these projects.

Hope you like!!

Thank you everyone who attended and I am really looking forward to the next Workshop.

So today is the Last and it is a project which was inspired by Jeannette.

She is a Guest Design Team Member for the Cupcake Challenge Blog, and this week they were asked to alter something. Jeannette turned a plain white box into a gorgeous Image Organiser.

It was such a fab idea I had to copy it so this is what I came up with

There are 6 file folders inside to help with organising all the images you stamp or have coloured, its up to you

Thank you Jeannette for the inspiration, hope you like it.

At Last Day 6 Giveaway!!!!

Hi everyone, sorry for the delay. Finally sorted things out, or put them on hold for a few minutes anyway. Camera is now OK, the setting had be changed!!!
Today's Project is so out of my Comfort Zone. I'm very much a monochrome person, or matching colours. The one thing I joined Stampin' Up for was the ease of put different colours together.
Easter is now only 7 weeks away So I thought I'd make a mini scrapbook ready to put some piccies in.
I had some new stamps delivered yesterday, and new papers ad cardstock, so had to start doing something straight away.
The Designer Papers from Stampin' Up were a good starting point, then the cardstock followed.
The images are from Elzybells, and they are so cute!!!!
So here you are the finished item!

If you would like to be in with a chance to receive this Project Kit, try to be the 6th person to leave a comment.

DAY 5 Giveaway!

Here it is folks, Day 5.

Now I'm not a doggy person, actually I'm not an animal person. I always had dogs as a child but never seem to be desperate to have one now, possibly after being attack by my mum and dad's dog 12 years ago. Anyway . . . . . .

These are the kind dogs I think I can cope with and the Elzybells Stamp Images are so cute, I couldn't resist.

So I thought a Tri-fold Card would suit these two images.

Isn't he adorable, reminds me of My Cameron.

Well there you go If you would like to receive this Kit, leave me a comment and hope you're the Fifth.

You will receive:

Cardstock - Cut and scored, Designer Paper, Stamped Images and Ribbon

Giveaway Day 4!

I have to say I really do love today's Project. It took me all day Yesterday to make and It was a real joy to do.

It was inspired by a project I saw on Dawn's Stamping Thoughts and also by my SU Mom, Julie. I made a Diorama Box, using stamps that I haven't used and have had for over a year.

Its a project I have had in my head for ages, but like most of those this didn't make cos, thought the idea would be better than the actual item, if you know what I mean.

Let me introduce you to Gardening Messy Rabbit.

I am addicted to buying Messy Rabbit Stamps by Joanna Sheen, I have managed to collect them all.

They are gorgeous, and the children enjoy stamping and colouring them, the are sooooo cute.

Each Stamp set has an accessory set and all have some lovely little elements, this enables you to add some cute details.

I have used elements from about 4 different stamp set to create this Diorama Box, which I think is a great way of using the stamps and very different.

The diorama is really easy to make, i may even try it at school soon!

Ok so if you want to be in with a chance to receive this Kit, leave me a comment and hope to be the 4th person.

See you all later, Good Luck!!!!

My Mistake

Sorry Agnes was the third commenter As its my mistake both Sarah Jane and Agnes will receive a kit. Sorry Ladies! XX

Day 3 Winner!!

Well done Sarah - Jane. I already have your address, Like I said yesterday I will post them all out at the end of the week.
Stop by tomorrow, I'm really excited about the project I'm giving away, it is really, really different! Inspired by many!!!!!

Day 3 Giveaway!!

Well we are at Day 3. Today's project uses another one of Lauren Meader's new Timeless Templates, which can be purchased through Papertrey.

Today's cute little box is so versatile, and I quite like using the main stamp image to create a background design. Also I have always loved the idea of stamping a circular image and matting and layering it onto a scallop, one of the reasons I had to become a Stampin' Up Demonstrator.

This is such a sweet little image from the Fun and Fast Notes Stamp Set (which you can purchase from the catalogue or receive as one of the Stamp set when you sign up as a demonstrator)

The flower belongs to the Seeing Spots Stamp Set, which again I love to use, as they create great accents.

Again I have inked the edges of the box, done a bit of matting and layering on the top and that about it!

If you would like to receive this as a kit, leave me a message and trust me some of the ladies are being very tactical!!!!
You will receive:
Cut and Stored cardstock, brads (x2) and Stamped Images, (unfortunately you wont be receiving the peg and plague, only have this one).
Good luck and I'll be back at 7.00pm after all the comments have been moderated!

Half Term Giveaway Day 2!

Morning Everyone, Its so nice not to have to get up and go anywhere today.
Hope if you are off this week, you are enjoying the thought of a whole week in front of you to relax and enjoy. Those of you who aren't off sorry!
Well Day 2 of my Half Term Giveaway.
The rules are as follows, just to clarify. Open to all in the UK. You can enter every day. That's it.
I will be moderating the comments at 7.00pm tonight, to give everyone an opportunity to comment if they wish.
As today is Day 2 the second person to leave a comment will receive the Kit of the following Project!

This is a sneeky peek of the side of the project. Its a basket, and I used the New Template from Papertrey. It Basket Basics by Lauren Meader, I love her work (if you haven't already visit her Blog, its on my sidebar).

I stamped the cardstock - Which is Stampin' Up's Real Red - with the Seeing Spots Stamp Set. Then I inked the edges, love this technique!

Then added Real Red 1/4 in Grosgrain Ribbon, to the sides again from Stampin' Up.

This next image shows the sentiment which is The Circle of Friendship Set from Stampin' Up. This set is so versatile. This was then mounted onto a circle of Real Red cardstock which I stamped using another of the Seeing Spots Stamps. I used a Sakura Gelly Roll Pen to doodle the dots on the Black cardstock scalloped circle.

This is an image that I have not used for ages. I love the style of Whipper Snapper and this cute Ladybird was calling to me to be used on this project. She was coloured using Promarkers (of which I nearly have a full set).

And for the Final Project.

Isn't it lovely. I do love Lauren's templates, they are very inspirational.

So if you would like to receive the Kit form of this project, Please leave a comment.

You will receive:

Cut and scored cardstock, Stamped images and Ribbon

All you have to do is stamp the card and colour in the Ladybird.

Good luck, see you later to announce the lucky recipient of the Kit.

Bye for now!
