The Sugar Bowl - Challenge 47

Its that time again everyone, The Sugar Bowl Challenge, No. 47
And its a sketch by the lovely Maria Therese

The prize is a winter themed one...Snowflake nestie and 6 stamp selection of 'winter' Sugar Nellie stamps!

I decided to use on of the new Simply Sassy Stamps called PILLOW TALK. I actually prefer her original name (P***** Off Princess) Cos that describes how I am feeling at the moment!!!!!

Anyway I decided to flip and mirror the sketch (hope that makes sense) so that it would look right with the things I wanted to use.

I was actually feeling creative so I made a gift box to match.

I used MME Papers with Old Olive Cardstock from Stampin' Up along with various ribbons.

I also used some lush felt flowers, which are now retired!!!

Hope you like. Make sure you pop over to The Sugar Bowl and have a peek at all the other fabulous inspiration.

I am off to the NEC this weekend so I might see some of you, I'm trying to get enthusiastic about it, but work is really getting me down at the moment!

Take care all and enjoy your day.

Anyone for Anya!

Here we are late again. I really I'm so, so, late with things at the moment.

This weeks Challenge is a Sketch and I love it, so simple but with a fabulous result.

Here I have used a CC Design Imaage, from All That Scraps - Sugarplum Cookie Emma

She is so adorable. The sentiment is also from CC Designs.
I also used some delicious paper from Dies to Die for. The green paper is from Bo Bunny Papers and I have to say I think I will be buying more! Its called Petal Pushers. I teamed this up with some co-ordinating papers from Stampin Up. The are fab!
These flowers were from my stash - the turquoise flower was white, but I coloured it using Stampin' Up's Tempting Turquoise. and the added some papermania flowers. The ribbon is also from Stampin' Up, its Melon Mamba Polka Dots - but sorry is no longer available.
Here is my completed set. the Box is a sizzix die, covered to co-ordinate with the card.

Hope you like.
I'll be back with some more bits and pieces soon.
Take care and thanks for popping by.

Snowflakes and Butterflies

Here is my second card using the Now Released Images from All That Scraps. Its really fun being part of a Design team because you get to try things you probably wouldn't try normally. This image is so sweet and these papers are Lush, no surprise then that that is their name!

I used this beautiful sentiment from Amy R's Merry & Bright Sentiments, I loved it as soon as I saw it and knew exactly that this was what I was going to do. I used Martha Stewart Punches for the snowflakes and butterflies, then finished them off with a few gems.

Here is the completed card - I have used papers from Dies to Die for again, and they are from My Mind's Eye - The Lush Blue Collection.

Snow...........

Wow! Its been such a long time since I made this card, I'd almost forgotten til I looked at the Previews over at All That Scraps. This card was made using one of the new November Stamp from Amy Youngs Sweet November Stamp Penelope.
I have also used one of the October released sentiments by Amy R's Holiday Greetings, so sweet, and really apt for the image.
I then used a few embellishments - The brads and gems are from my stash, the snowflake was one bought from Bunny Zoe's. The ribbon is so lush, Chocolate Chip Taffeta from Stampin' Up.

Here is the completed card - The papers are gorgeous, not the usual ones I would go for but Tracey from Dies to Die for sent me a pack of assorted papers and these were among them, and I loved them. They set the basis for the card along with a sketch by Tiets, which I love! Tracey has a huge range of papers - These are part of the GCD Studios - Ella Blue 12 x 12 Collection Pack, so pop and have a look here.
Hope you like.
I'll be back tomorrow with a creation for Kenny K and Anyone for Anya, so see you soon.

Completed Craftroom - 5 days!!!!!!

Blimey what a week it has been, I'm totally knackered!!!!

Have finally finished my craftroom, so if you are interested, sit back and enjoy the tour.
As you walk in and turn to the left this is the sight that greets you, not sure everything is going to stay where it is, when I start working things may move.

I really pondered the worktop choice and final decided on two tables from IKEA, only £30 each, bargain, one is where I will work and the other one is for my class on Tuesday's.

Here is where I have put my Bigshot, Cuttlebug and Expressions, but I'm not 100% yet what is going to stay!! I may still get rid of bits and pieces to make room on the shelves, for these to live when I'm not using them! I have 2 Bind-it-alls, bought them bought for classes, If anyone is interested I'll take offers for one.

Here is where my Copics and Promarkers are going to live as they are used constantly, along with my tool tote. I don't know about you guys but I still haven't found anything to keep my tools in that I am totally happy with. The red things on the window still is Emily's Foot Mould that was made when she was 1.

Here is the sight that greets you as you walk in the room. Its fully now, this photo was taken yesterday as I was sorting. I'll work from left to right.

Here are most of my Sizzix Dies, I think I had forgotten what I had, but can't bare to part with them. My Billy Bookcase is going to look after them though! There is a second Bookcase which you can see that is housing my SU inks, til I buy the storage unit!
Now here is where I have put, my SU stamps, almost floor to ceiling, Benno DVD Towers, brilliant, adjustable shelves so you can have them to the heights you need! The other one has various bits and pieces, but its the third one I love! All those jars with bits of ribbon, Just like a rainbow.
More ribbons, I have absolutely loads!!!!! The shelves on the wall were £2.49 each and are perfect for Martha Stewart and New SU Punches. OH!! There is a gap, will have to purcahse a few more to sort that problem out!!!
And more SU and EK Success Punches, the baskets have gone, I don't really use all these anymore.
Three more shelves with yummy MS Punches, and my collection of Cricut Cartridges! Plus a lovely Halloween Card front from Ria.
Now this bit was the part of our trip to IKEA which caused a discussion. Emily thought I ought to go for Black and White, but Andy thought a bit of colour would be better, so went with orange and white. Again these where a bargain. The magazine holders hold a complete set of Colour family Card!!!! Good excuse to stock up!!
The CD Boxes underneath have all my stamps in !!!!!
Hope you have enjoyed the tour.
Now I might go and create my first card!!!
Have a lovely evening, thanks for popping by and Thank you for all you lovely comments!!

Craft Room Update!!

ohhhhhhhhhhhh I'm getting so excited I can't sleep, but there is nothing I can do til today, Oh I did hang the curtains!
It doesn't look like much has changed, But the Floor has almost been finished. Got back from York at 6.30pm last night and Hubby is such an angel he had tea and the started to lay the wood floor!!!
This was 9.30pm and all that's left to do is the beading around the edge and the far side strip - but thats going to be tricky as he has to cut around the radiator!!!!!
This is the other side of the room. We are off to IKEA today to get all the units - My hubby really is a dream, I was only going to get half today nad the the other half when I got paid again, but he has said I can take the money from our joint account and put it back later!!!! Isn't he the best.
I can't wait to start organising - got loads of stuf to get rid of!!!!!
Have a lovely day and I'll be back soon!!

Something New!!!!

Well, I was hoping that this Half term was going to be wall to wall crafting and getting sorted with things, but have done a complete U Turn and am hoping that this decision will boost my Mojo as it has been very much missing lately.
I'm having a Craftroom Makeover! Andy had the day off yesterday as Cameron was on an inset day, so they emptied their half of the playroom of toys. Then when I got home I cleared all my craft stuff!!!!! Finished at 10pm then started again at 3am this morning!!!!
This is it so far, completely empty and ceiling painted, but it needs another coat.
This is my end which over looks the garden and get full sunlight, its lovely.

And this is the kids' end, but may be reduced when I buy my new units!!!!!. Its a good sized room, about 3m wide and 4m long. I'm going with Wall to Wall units to hold all my crafting stuff. Although I am going to have to clear loads of stuff out!

I will keep you all updated as to the progress we make, but I am hoping that it all ready for the Units on Tuesday so that I can have the rest of the house Back!!!!!
Take care and Enjoy
