Passion for Promarker Two!!

This card has been sitting around waiting to be posted for the Passion for Promarker Challenge.
This weeks challenge colours were
Apple and Pastel Pink

I kept the layout quite simply. The papers are Basic Grey, the ribbon was from my stash, but matched everything perfectly.

The image is obviously Tilda, cut out using my nesties, and layered.

The sentiment is from SU, stamped in Certainly Celery, and again layered, but using the SU Oval Punches

I love this little butterfly, I was one that came with one of my Messy Rabbit Stamp Set, and works really well. I coloured it, in the challenge colours and then cut it out for Tilda to try and catch.

Finally I used my favourite retro flowers punches and some co-ordinating dew drops.

Hope you like.

Thanks for popping by and take care.

Raspberry Ribbon Challenge!

Hi everybody, Well I'd enter many challenges but I really like what Mandy did this week for the Raspberry Ribbon Sketch, and as its half term I thought I'd have a go!

Not really sure whether I have done it right or not but this is my take on the Sketch.

I love the Gorjuss Girl Stamps, they lend themselves so well to being coloured with my Promarkers.

The background paper I have used was my inspiration for the colours. They are a retired set from Stampin' Up, called Fall Flowers Designer Series Paper.

The cardstock is from my stash, which matched up surprisingly well.

The ribbon, which is a must for the challenge, was also from my stash, I bought it ages ago from Hobby Craft, they sell small rolls for 49p, colours matched perfectly.

The sentiment is the Oval All Stamp Set also from Stampin' Up, with the Scallop Oval and Oval Punches.

I hope it fits in with hthe Challenge,

Thanks for stopping by

Image Organiser Box Tutorial

Here it is.
Sorry if it is a bit long and waffley, I would appreciate any comments to help make anything clearer!!

IMAGE ORGANISER BOX
This is all the equipment you will need to make the Box:

2 pieces of A4 card (SU Barely Banana)
Designer Series Paper (SU Junior Varsity)
Contrasting Cardstock (Co'ordinates)
Grosgrain Ribbon (SU Mini)
Adhesive
Sticky Tabs (or SU Dimensionals)
Scorer
Scissors
Pencil
Ruler
And Punches (Oval Scallop and Oval Punches from SU Mini)
First of all you need to cut two pieces of cardstock (Barely Banana) measuring:
Base: 20.7cm by 25cm
Lid: 19cm by 13.3cm
For the base score along the long side at 10cm and 15cm
Then along the shorter side score at 5cm then 15.7cm
For the lid score along all four sides at 4cm
The cut as shown in the photo
Finally fold along all score lines.
Base: now with the right side (you decide) of card facing up stick adhesive on the flaps as shown
Then Flip base over, left to right, and stick adhesive as show here
Lid: With right side up. place tape as shown, on all four corner flaps on all four edges.
Before assembling Base and Lid make up and add all the mats.
Base:
Contrasting Cardstock:
2 pieces measuring 4cm x 9cm
1 piece measuring 9cm x 9cm
Designer Series Paper:
2 pieces measuring 3.5cm x 8.5cm
1 piece measuring 8.5cm x 9cm
Lid:
Contrasting Cardstock:
2 pieces measuring 10cm x 3cm
2 pieces measuring 4.5cm x 3cm
1 piece measuring 4.5cm x 10cm
Designer Series Paper:
2 pieces measuring 9.5cm x 2.5cm
2 pieces measuring 4cm x 2.5cm
1 piece measuring 4cm x 9.5cm
Adhere all of these pieces together and then adhere to Base and Lid.
Before adding the main Base Mat it is a good idea to attach the Ribbon then it is secured when the piece is adhered to box.
Then Assemble Box Base and Lid.
For the Base be sure that the small flap goes on the inside and the unmatted flap goes next then finally the matted flap on the outside.
And that's it, one finished Box!
I added extra detail to this box using the SU Oval and Scallop Oval punched and the Oval All Stamp Set. All three are now available from the Mini Catalogue
To make the Files for inside, if you wish to turn your box into an Image Organiser, You will need a further two pieces of cardstock and cut 6 pieces to measure 10cm by 17cm, you can get three out of one piece of A4 cardstock.
Fold each one in half to measure 10cm by 8.5cm
and then add a tab punched out of the Tab Punch from SU

Hopefully all this makes sense. Please let me know If there are things which aren't clear. I would appreciate all comments good or bad.

Thanks for looking

I love the New Papers!!!

Two days to go ladies (and any gents who are interested) for ordering any of the new products from the Mini Catalogue

There are some gorgeous goodies in it, and available to order from me!!!!!

This project was created using the So Saffron cardstock, and is based on the Box that can be seen on the front of the catalogue. The papers I used are the Washington Apple Designer Papers, they are lush!!

These are the notelets I designed to go inside this cute box.

It is so easy to make, and maybe a future workshop.

The stamp set is a part of the Oval All Set, punched using the coordinating, oval and scallop oval punches. The rest of the products used include Real Red Cardstock, and Very Vanilla grosgrain ribbon.

Hope you like, I have to say I am pleased with the result.

Thank you for popping by.

Weekend Giveaway!!!!

Hi Everyone sorry about last night had a bit of crashing news which needed dealing with straight away, Thank you for all your lovely comments. But hopefully all sorted now!
Right down to revealing my surprise for you all!!!!
(Probably a bit of an anticlimax)

I love making books, and I enjoy creating 3D projects so I thought I'd create somethin which combines both.
I have had a Bind-it-all ever since they were released and have to say have barely used it, so thinking about the credit crunch I am challenging myself to projects using the stash I already have and minimise spending, LOL!!!!

I made this

The papers are from Stampin' Up, Bright Blue, (a retired collection available while stocks last)

This is part of a lovely new stamp set Oval All, from the Stampin' Up Mini (available to order from 1st April)

These ribbons are the 1/4 inch grosgrain ones, again from Stampin' Up Whisper White and Night of Navy.

Here is the best bit! Inside the book contains little pocket pages which can hold stamped Images

Soooooo! Would you like a chance to win this Image Organizer Book, not the Kit to make but this actual book, with a collection of images inside.

Well leave a comment today and tomorrow and you could be in with a chance to win. The winner will be picked at random on Sunday Night at 9.15 after Wild at Heart!!!!!!!!

Open to everyone in the UK.

This next basket was inspired by Monica

Again I used the Washington Apple Designer Series paper, teamed up with the So Saffron Grosgrain Ribbon, cardstock and a little chick stamp from Elzybells.

Monica has a fantastic Video Tutorial on how to make this basket, its so simple but gorgeous.

Late Night Goodies!

Its getting passed my bed time but I just had to post pictures of my creations using the new products from the SU mini catalogue.
They are gorgeous.
I have been able to pre-order some goodies.
I have bought ribbons, papers, stamps and punches, I was so excited when they came yesterday, but couldn't play til tonight.
I have combined them with an Elzybell's Easter Stamp and SU cardstock

First up are the stamps and punches. I used one of the new Oval All Stamps then punched out a Scallop Oval and a Large Oval, all are part of Shelli's Signature Collection. (Shelli is the Founder of Stampin' UP).

Then there are the new gorgeous ribbons. They are 1/2" Striped Grosgrain Ribbons, in So Saffron, Pretty in Pink and Bashful Blue.

The Designer Paper I used is part of the Washington Apple Designer Series. They are LUSH.
I only used one sheet, for all the things I made tonight, the difficulty is which side to use!!!!!!

Hope you like, pop back tomorrow and see what other goodies I used along with a Surprise!!?!!
