The Best til Last

This is the last image, recently recent by Sugar Nellies. She is called Woodland Fairy and is available now from Funky Kits.
I didn't want to go natural colours I think the image is very mystical and I love the little details, like her flower ring and gorgeous butterfly wings.
I really went to town on her!
I used some papers from The Daisy Bucket I recent bought, and these gave me my colours.

You can see here I have glimmer misted her, which adds to the mystic effect.

I cut a frame from a sizzix die I have had for ages and never used!!!! and added some gems.

I used my favour accessory the i-top and punches.

Then a Stampin' Up sentiment and some ribbon from my stash!!

I hope you like. I really enjoyed making this card, and is one that with not be going anywhere!!!!

Have a good day

The Sugar Bowl Challenge No 41.

This is the sketch for the Challenge over at the Sugar Bowl this fortnight, curtesy of the lovely Marlene. What a challenge. Make sure you get yourself over to see the rest of the Design Team and the fabulous prize on offer.
Here is my interpretation of Marlene's Sketch, with the option of "something old, something new".
I decided to go for a Gate-fold card, using the centre circle as the overlap.
I struggled with the star detail, but decided to add the swirls in that formation, as i didn't really have anything suitable (don't have a star nestie!!!)

I used a gorjuss girl - an oldie - as I haven't used them for ages. She was coloured with my promarkers to match my favourite MME papers.

The new part of the challenge was this punch, I haven't used it much and its probably my newest purchase.
Hope you like, make sure you play along, you never know, you might be a winner!!!
Have a lovely day

InStyle Stamps: Batty Chloe

I do love Halloween and this image from InStyle Stamps is so sweet. I love there images as they are simple to colour, however they also do some fantastic scenes which are to die for, check their site out, here.
I decided to use red for this card cos its my fav!!!! I have kept things pretty simple.

This sentiment is from an Elzybels set I have, the side is cut from a Cuttlebug die I have, and layered this embellishment up using various circles!

The Acetate is from Stampin' Up and this was attached with black brads. I then layered some Halloween critters around the edge to accompany Chloe on her Night Flight.

Hope you like.

Take care.

Sugar Nellie DT Card, No. 3

Isn't her cool. I love these new Manga Stamps from Sugar Nellie. They are adorable. Scooter boy is such a cool dude and is available from Funky Kits now

I kept this really simple and used MME papers called Lil' Robots, teamed with some cardstock from Stampin' Up, (if memory serves me right its called Bravo Burgundy!)

Just a couple of layers a bit of tearing and the card was complete.

The sentiment is from Roll Call again!!
Hope you like.
Have fun

All That Scraps - another preview

Here is another preview of the soon to be released CC Design's Take a Seat. I really like it the add ons will really work with any other sitting images you might have! I have used Trevor again, and sat him on the wagon.
Look at the brad, it is huge. I love my i-top!!!!!

I added lots of little tags, from the Stampin' Up Set, Tiny tags and match punch.

Its a bit different.
He is so sweet. I can also see this wagon being used with the standing images, pulling along some goodies.
Hope you like make sure you check out the previews for today over at All that Scraps.

All that Scraps Preview Day 1

Oh I'm so excited by the new releases over at All That Scraps. We received our kits last week and they are to die for.
This months kit is full of add ons, little bits and pieces for Emma and Trevor, and all the others to sit on!!!!
Isn't this Hope Chest gorgeous. Trevor is also quite dapper too!!!!
I created the sentiment myself and printed it on the computer, using "Lucinda" font.

I added the little lock, just for some extra detail. The papers I have used are a new range from MME called Lil' Robots. The Ribbon and Cardstock are all from Stamin' Up.
You can just about see some of the dimension, as I 3Ded Trevor. I then had to make a box. I thought this one from Lauren Meader would be perfect, as it looks a bit like a chest. Its called the Flapper.
I love it! It has such an unusual opening, and the whole shape is unusual to!
Here is the complete set. I hope you like. There will be a few more over the next couple of days.......hopefully as the are scheduled for while I'm away!
Make sure you pop over to All That Scraps, here, the rest of the Design Team have really done a job with these stamps, these pale by comparison!
Have a good day. This is my last post now so will see you all when I get back off holiday! How am I going to survive for 2 weeks and no computer!!!!!!

Another Sugar Nellie DT Card

I really don't do pink and girly very often but this gorgeous new Manga from Sugar Nellie, was just crying out for it!! Manga Princess is just one of the four newly released Manga Stamps.
I tried to go very softly so have used Pastel Pink and the Blender Pen (sorry about the darkness of photos - was in between rain showers!!!!!) And then to make the petticoat look white I used Ice Grey 1 - I got the depth by adding extra layers to the deep layers of cloth!!!
I used lots of bits from my Stash - I'm resisted buying papers this holiday - two weeks and no new paper!!!!! So the ribbon is some retired SU Stock and Papers are from Making Memories. I had to use the SU sentiment too, really fitting!!!
I have bought a few new dies though!!!!! And this is one of them. The Suitcase Die - isn't it sweet.
Bags of room too!
And the final set!! (I'm in the process of looking at a masculine suitcase ;)
Right I have to iron and pack today as we are off on our Jollies on Saturday!!!!!! I am just about recovered from my accident!!!!!! I fell into my craftroom and badly twisted my ankle, which now resembles a black tree trunk - very attractive. Its put me back slightly so may not have as many posts while I'm away but I'm spread them out.
Anyway have a lovely day.

Anyone for Anya - better late than never!!!

I'm so sorry I'm so late with this week's Anyone for Anya DT Card. Sunday was so busy with Kenny K and then I needed to post A Sugar Nellie yesterday and then I was hoping to post again last night but I had an accident which put me back in all my plans. So anyway better late.........
Here is my DT Card for this weeks STITCH IT Challenge

(I'm replacing the photo, didn't realise how blurry it was!!!!!) I do love this cute images, and this one is really useful for my son's age group at the moment (8years) I have kept the card very simple but with the added detail of the blanket stitched memory wire around the sides,
Hope you like.
Can't stay long today need to put my leg up and rest it, so plenty of colouring for me today.
I'll be back tomorrow.

Sugar Nellie DT Card, at last!!

Hi everyone. Isn't this golfer fabulous. I love him, and I know lots of my friends are going to like him too, cos it will sort lots of cards for the hubbies. He is just one of the newly released Manga Stamps from Sugar Nellie, available from Funky Kits.

Not coming from a Golfing family, I wasn't really sure of the colour combo, but I had these papers lying around from MME and decided to go with them.

This sentiment is from Elzybels, which is unfortunately in the processes of closing for business, but there are still some things available, make sure you visit.

Again I have kept the card simple. I am really liking this style, and only add a little detail, like the circles layered with matching brads.

Its a quick post today as I'm trying to get on top of lots of things before I go away. I want to leave you with some goodies to look at while I'm away.
I'll be back tomorrow.
Have a lovely day
Take care
