Project Inspired by Amy R

I was really inspired by the previews this week over at All That Scraps. Amy R created a really Clean and Simple card using the new Words.
So I created this box, but with a difference.
I was playing with a piece of card, well two actually and made this.
The base cardstock was from my stash but the other cardstock is from Stampin Up - Rose Red, Night of Navy and Old Olive. I think they really work well together. The ribbon are also Stampin' Up. There is Rose Red Stitched Grosgrain, and Old Olive and Bashful Blue Grosgrain.
I coloured the image FRIEND using the same technique that Amy shows in her video, here

This is a Jules' Bow!!!

Now you open the front flap, which is held down with Velcro. and another flap is revealed.

This open opens the box or holder, to reveal..........

6 Square Cards and Envelopes.
Really simple. Stamp the word, colour, mat and layer. I don't think I have ever made a card so simply, but I really like it. I made these so I have a stash at work, when I forget or don't know peoples' birthdays. I will be making many more.
Hope you like.
Remember to pop back tomorrow for a mammoth blog hop!!!!

InStyle Stamps Blog Hop

Hi all, its the last Friday of the month, which means its Blog Hop time with InStyle Stamps. The them for this month is Christmas In July.
If you have started her go back to the main site here and start the blog, browse through all the fab creations, leave a comment and you could be in with a chance to win a prize. All details are over on the InStyle Stamps Blog.
You should have come here from the lovely Angela.
Here is the Projects I have made. The Image is called RANDOLF and I think he is so cute!!!! and quick to colour. Ideal for all those school cards I have to make.
The actual image comes with a scalloped edge, but I decided to cute this away and use a nestie.
This is the topper I started with (actually I made two) and one of them I mounted onto a card front.
I have kept the card really simple, but I had to create more things. So being a digital image, you can resize all you like. So I played for a bit and created the cute mini pizza box...
...to hold some smaller gift tags.

I hope you like and I hope its given you a little bit of inspiration to start your Christmas Cards!!! DON'T FORGET TO VOTE FOR YOUR FAVOURITE!!!
Now you need to pop along to the gorgeous Angelique and see what she has to offer.
Have a lovely evening and make sure you pop by tomorrow I have an project inspired by the lovely Amy from All That Scraps
Take care.

ATS Preview Day 4: Halloween

You all know how much I love CC Designs, well these new Stamps, designer by Christine are no exception and they are so cute.
We have Halloween Hansel.
I used the Becky Roberts bag template for this goodie bag, but kept the top straight, rather than shaped. And then created a card, which rather than the usual is a side opening A5 card.

The photo here just about showing the Glossy Accents I have put on his bat hood, to make it shine!

I also blew off the dust from my sizzix dies and cut out spooky from the papers I have in my stash from last year, I think they are Bo Bunny ones!

I think this bag is so cute and just goes to show that it can be used for boys and men!

The word was cut from a piece of paper.
And here is Halloween Birgitta.
I love Halloween and have said it many time I wish we celebrated it like they do in America, especially in schools!

I sat this like witch on a circle nestie, and added a few extra details. The spider is from an older CC Designs Stamp Set and the Witch's hat Charm was originally from Bunny Zoes.
And the sentiment is from Elzybels.
This is a little treat holder, made using a tutorial from Chic n' Scratch.

I hope you like, There are more Previews over at All That Scraps, the team really are inspirational, go have a look.
BUT pop back later there is a InStyle Stamps Blog Hop with some great ideas. See you later and have a lovely day.

All That Scraps Previews Day 3: Honey Teacher.

Oh What I would give to have a class full of these little sweeties. But That would make life a little less interesting.
Its Day 3 of the Previews over at All That Scraps and what a lot of inspiration there has been these last couple of days.
Here is what I created.
I'm always looking for ways to be organised, but they never seem to work.
I have created a notebook and matching pen holder.
I added extra detail, for fun buttons and some memory wire!
I really love the new satin ribbon from Stampin' Up, I may need to order some more soon!

I thought I'd use a "Thank You" sentiment as it would also make a perfect gift for a teacher.
I used lots of red ribbon from my stash to jazz up the binding. I also used some of Tim Holtz Grungeboard, for the cover, making it a bit more sturdy.
And the final shot of both projects together. Make sure you pop over and check out all the other creations and a chance to win a prize, here.
I'm trying really hard at the moment to keep my projects as simple as possible, as there are lots of newbies out there and projects can look just as good without all the fuss.
Although I have slipped back for the up and coming special event on Sunday!! ;)
Have a lovely day. We are stopping at home today. After the events of yesterday!! Have a great day out with a lovely friend and her niece. Unfortunately my Baby was very ill and slept most of the afternoon, once we got home. Here's to a better day.

PS: Make sure you pop back later and see the Sugar Bowl Challenge

Kiddie Scrapbooks

You know I love doing my Design Team work, but I have to say it keeps you busy. I'm really looking forward to going on holiday and just colouring without the pressure.
Here are two projects I have made for my children. When we go on holiday I like them to have scrapbooks to doodle and do whatever they want in. You know those times they say they are bored, I show them their books - they either go and do something or run a mile.
Anyway I have used a couple of CC Designs.....
Waving Emma.
I used some old Making Memories papers from my stash, and Cut out the lettering using the Fruit Smoothie Alphabet from Sizzix.
I bound the book with my new toy ........ THE CINCH!!!! its great.
Oh this book is for Emily!
Then for Cameron I used Bucket Trevor, cos he loves the beach and digging, usually oblivious to what happens to the sand when he throws it behind him!!!!

I used some paper from Dies to Die for, I forgot what they are called!!!! I think they are My Minds Eye.

Hope you like.
I will be showing you all what I have been getting up to this week.
I think Thursday and Friday are Preview Days for All that Scraps with some of my projects - gorgeous stamps!!! Friday is Instyle Stamps Blog Hop, Sunday is an Blog Hop this time for Kenny K, its a doosie!!!!! I was blushing!!!!!
Hope that has got you intrigues!!!!
Have fun
I'm off to a Farm Park with the Kids tomorrow, if my friend can find it!!!

My First Anyone for Anya Challenge Project

Blimey I think the title took longer to type than the card did to make.

Things are getting really exciting (and busy) for me in Blog land. I couldn't believe I was invited to join both Kenny K's Krafty Girls and Anyone for Anya Challenges. I love both styles. I like the way card making and papercrafting is so eclectic.

Anyway, enough waffle, down to busy. When I sat down to create a project for this weeks challenge I know that I had to use one of the new stamps I purchased from Dies to Die for. (Actually I am having a bit of an image over load at the moment, I have so many, not really sure there are enough days in the year to show them)!!

She is Gorgeous, and is part of the Creepy Crew, Monday is her name.

I'm very much into colouring hair grey at the moment, maybe its cos that's the colour my hair is turning!!!

When I went to Jules' all day craft event she showed us how to Rock 'n' Roll. (Not the dancing although I know she is fabulous at her Ballroom and Latin) Its were you ink up your stamp in one colour (preferably the lightest) and rock and roll the edges of the stamp into another colour. I used it here with this project.

I also added a few gems and brads to hold the flower blooms together. These flowers are from the Vintage Set from Stampin' Up. Its my favourite at the moment.

The sentiment is from a set I have had for a while, bought from Elzybels. The ribbon is from my stash! The black and white papers are from Stampin' Up, they are the Day and Night Designer Series.
Here are my projects following the Sketch for this weeks Challenge.

The colour combo is Black, white Taken with Teal and Yoyo Yellow. I could resist making another of the fabulous bags we created at Jules' too. I love the style.

Again I followed the sketch for this week's Challenge, and I think the bag is such a sweet creation.

Right then, I hope you have been inspired to create something, If so here is the sketch:

Then enter you fab creation into the challenge with a chance to win a fabulous prize from the sponsor's of this weeks Challenge:

Good Luck and Have fun.
