A Card for Issy - Meet Madelyn!

Today's card is for my Niece who is 8years old on the 4th January.
This gorgeous image is called Madelyn and I have had her for a while, but not had the opportunity to use her.
I chose the colours for this card to co-ordinate with Issy's present which I'll share tomorrow.
I love making these flowers, you can get all inked up and scrunch the paper and they look so effective.

Bubbles!

This image is called Bubbles, but for some reason, this adorable little girl reminds me of Pebbles from the Flintstones, what do you think???
I don't have many friends who are having or likely to have babies, cos they all seem to have them already. But it didn't stop me from trying to create a new baby card.
I think also this image would do for a First Birthday too!
This flower which I love was created by layering up several Retro Flowers of different sizes, there are many tutorials around. I crumpled up the paper and then attached all the layers using a gem brad from Stampin' Up. I also attached a charm with jump rings.
The border here was created using a Martha Stewart Punch and then I adhered some very shiny ribbon from my stash, (still being good and trying to use up my stash.)
The papers I have used for this project were also from my stash and coincidentally are from Pebbles Inc.
I have also created a matching gift box to hold some little goodies for a new born, or 1 year old.
This box is a die from Sizzix, and it is the best, just the right size for little gifts.
The thumb grip was created using a circle punch.
Another handmade flower with a teddy charm.
Both charms were from Bunny Zoe's.
I hope you like today's projects, I'll be back tomorrow with some more.

Meet Erin, DT Project.

Isn't She Beautiful.
This gorgeous young lady was sent to me as part of my Design Team Kit for the December Release, over at Funky Kits.
I have lots planned with these stamps so please keep popping by to see what I do!!
As always the image was stamped using Memento Ink, the best for colouring in with Promarkers, my favourite colouring medium.
I think the green although very strong really works well with the papers and brings out the green strip.
This sentiment is from Stampin' Up, a set called Sincere Salutations, very useful, a definite must have!!!!
Both Blooms were created using a Spellbinder Die, very versatile, I do like creating my own flowers. You can just about see that the flowers have been spritzed with Glimmer Mist.
The Papers I used were from Basic Grey.
I also created a lovely little box using one of Lauren Meader's new templates from her pre-opening releases, go and have a look they are lovely, there are three in total.
The box is called the Cutesy Cover.
I have used another bloom to fit to the front.
And a magnet fastener.
I hope you like.
I have lots of things planned for the new year and was wondering if you would give me your opinion.
Each month I was thinking a doing a project tutorial. I was wondering what everyone thought.
The tutorial would involve making a project from beginning to end, choosing colours, papers, etc. Would anyone out there be interested????
Let me know.
Right I'm off to create more things while I have the enthusiasm.
Have a lovely day and thanks for all your lovely comments about my article. You are a lovely bunch of people.

I can't believe I have been published.
Over a month ago, Karen at Sugar Nellie asked me if I would be interested in producing a card and instructions, using a Sugar Nellie stamp, for Papercraft Essential, Stamping Supplement.
Well after thinking about about it for all of about 1 second, I jumped at the opportunity.

I am so thrilled!!!!

It was a tight deadline, but I managed it!!!!!

I feel so honoured. and am so grateful to a lot of people.

A Cool Dude Birthday Card!

Its such a relief to be able to make a birthday card, for a change.
This is a card I made for a friend of Cameron who was 6 years old yesterday.

I used a favourite Greeting Farm Stamp, Ian. I do like him. I coloured him to look a bit like Jude who is a red he. Cameron thought it looked like him, so must have done it ok!

I added a sentiment which I printed out on the computer, and some stars punched from a Stampin' Up Punch. and the little circles where stamped with the Circle Of Friendship, also from Stampin' Up.

The paper was from my stash, still sticking to that New Year Resolution, early, to try to use up my Stash, before buying new!!!!!

Hope you have a lovely Christmas Eve, I'm food shopping today, and a few last minute bits and pieces.

Take Care

A Card For Cameron

This is my card to my Son, Cameron.
The images were bought from QVC ages ago and I inked them up and coloured them straight away. I think they are so cute and would suit those family cards.
Cameron was so excited yesterday when it snowed, but unfortunately it was to late to build a snowman, and typically it had all iced up this morning, so he's not best pleased. But like the teddy, he did have a great snowball fight with his granddad on the way to the panto yesterday!
A couple of dimensional shots.
The papers I used were from The Forever Friends Range. The ribbon was from my stash.
A much simpler card than usual.
Hope you like.
I'm hoping to do lots of colouring and crafting today, as everyone has gone off on the Santa Express.
Enjoy your day

Nora was stamped in Memento Ink and coloured using myPromarkers.
Here is a dimensional shot.

And a matching Gift box.
Hope you like.
